The BJ Anderson Company has been
in the Commercial Real Estate business in Mesquite for over
35 years. B.J. and two of his sons, Terry and Mike, are
life-long residents of Mesquite. B.J. served sixteen
years on the Planning and Zoning commission, with ten of
those years as Chairman. B.J. has served on the original
board to secure our first Chamber Manager in Mesquite and he
also is a past President of the Mesquite Chamber of
Commerce. Terry has also served on Planning and Zoning
Commission. And, has served eighteen years on the North
Texas Municipal Water District Board representing the City
of Mesquite. Mike is currently Mayor of Mesquite and
has served three terms. He has served as a Mesquite City
Councilman, and is the past Mayor Pro Tem and head of the
Chamber of Commerce Industrial board.
B.J.'s grandson and Terry's son,
Sam Anderson, has joined the business after graduating from
the University of Texas at Austin with a corporate
communications degree. After playing professional baseball
for three seasons, Sam decided to join the family business.
All three are involved in community service. Sammye
Anderson, BJ Anderson's wife, has been involved in
residential real estate for 20 years. Sammye once
helped process sixteen closings within two months for a
relocating business from Chicago, IL .

In 1986, the company saw a need
for local leasing agents and a management company to
represent the business parks and shopping centers in
Mesquite and the surrounding area. Our Company is
aggressively active in leasing and managing in Mesquite and
the East Dallas County .
We have found that to be a
success in leasing and management is to be creative and
persistent. We pursue our clients from all over the
Dallas area and show them the advantage to locating in
the East Dallas County, which seems to remain a hot spot
of Dallas, County. In maintaining a positive attitude,
we will survive in today's market.
